Crown Hill Digital
Crown Hill Digital is my independent distribution label and music production studio. In addition to producing our own releases, we also provide jingles, video game themes and distribution services. We will soon provide video services, also. Collaboration is always cool.
I composed "Theme ILL" to demonstrate step programming technique without the convenience of a midi controller. Input was executed from a laptop keypad, plotted note by note upon the piano roll grid of a software sequencer. The output was then routed to virtual instrument and sampler software. Nuance was achieved through tweaking note velocity, pitch and tempo to emulate realtime human performance. Take a listen. I believe I've pulled it off. (more)
